Custom Order Challenge

I have been a bit chaotic lately - life, creatively, and just plain distracted.

I had a wonderful customer contact me on Etsy with a custom order - could I help her launch her new business with some out of the box ideas she had.   I love thinking out of the box creatively and know that only good things can be the result.

She was launching a new wedding prop design studio in Maui and has a beautiful website a very vintage feel.  After browsing her website and emailing back and forth, I decided to take the plunge and start working on her idea.  She was looking for a unique way to market her business to other wedding vendors (florists, print houses, venues, anything wedding related on Maui).  After explaining her vision to me and emailing her logo and a few pieces of text, I was given free reign to get creative.

She picked out her color scheme for this project - champagne and muted colors to match the overall look and feel of her website.

Here is what I came up with - I love it and had so much fun doing this.

These cute accordion albums have her logo on the front and will be packaged in these great boxes I made, topped with a paper flower from my shop {  I made that too :)  }

The backside of the album as her contact info, a wonderful way to get people excited it to have a unique business card that is all your own.

The first pages are filled with pictures of her prop closet, along with a bit about what they do.

The last page is a more lengthy explanation of how they can help brides.  We left several pages blank - she plans on giving these out to brides she works with and let them write ideas, questions or details on the blank pages.
This was such a wonderful way to get people excited about your new business you are launching - I was so excited to see it all come together!

If you would like a template for this project, I am working on that - all you need is great card stock, a paper trimmer, some adhesive and a lot of patience.  I printed her pictures off on my photo printer on Canon High Gloss paper and then ran it through a XYRON so that it became a very unique and cool sticker.

I'm telling you, if I can manage to make 25 of these with a 2 year old little boy "helping" - you can definitely do it!

My Etsy helper...quite the mischievous little guy!

Have fun crafting - don't underestimate what you can do - push the limits and see what can happen!
